VASCULAR COMPLICATIONS OF SERIOUS VIPERS ENVENOMATION: ABOUT A CASE

Declared as a neglected disease by the OMS, snakebites are responsible for 421,000 cases of envenomation and 20,000 deaths worldwide. In Morocco, they much rarer but remain serious with heavy consequences. It is exceptional to observe mesenteric infarction following bugloss envenomation. The physiopathological mechanism not clearly established, seems multifactorial. context multivisceral failure, diagnosis can be difficult therapeutic delay life-threatening. We report case lower limb ischemia associated in 66-year-old patient complicating horned viper bite.
